Manorville couple to open party space

Posted

Manorville residents Adam and Allie Larkin plan to open Host Hampton, a space available for kids-themed birthday parties, markets for small-business owners, classes, private events and retail, this fall.

Allie, who will be running the business, originally came up with the idea after going to several birthday parties for school friends.

“Every time, we have to drive so far; we have nothing like this in our community,” she said, eager to provide a new and fresh space for her community.

The space will now officially be located at 295 Montauk Highway in Speonk, Building 2, Suite 7 (the Brewology parking lot). They found the space after driving up and down Main Street from Center Moriches to Speonk to find a vacancy.

The lease officially starts as of Sept. 1 and after a full renovation, including new walls, floors and paint, as well as decorating, they plan to open mid-September.

Once open, services will include themed birthday parties, private events, classes, markets and retail space.

“We really hope and believe that this will be great for the community—we hope to service a wide range of ages and people to really make it an event space for everyone,” she said.

The Larkins currently live in Manorville and locally own Treats by Allie as well as Eastern Landscape and Mason Supply. Together they have 6-year-old twins.
